We have supplied technology from renowned manufacturers since 1986. Today we work as a systems integrator for drone and robotics solutions. With our own workshop and Academy in Ubstadt-Weiher, and sites in five countries.
Over four decades we have learnt that a product only wins people over when it works reliably for the customer. Out of that experience grew a systems integrator for drone and robotics solutions, which today has its own sites in Germany, Austria, Italy, China and Thailand.
We select systems on a vendor-neutral basis, make them ready for the task in hand and support them in day-to-day operation, with our own workshop, maintenance contracts and training at our Academy.

Solectric was founded in Ubstadt-Weiher, where the company is still based today. Even then, the core of our work was clear: we find technology, bring it to market and take responsibility for making it work for the customer.
Solectric saw the potential of civilian drones for photography and video early on. That was the start of the partnership with DJI. Today Solectric is one of Europe's largest DJI partners.
Germany's first DJI Store opened in Frankfurt, run by Solectric. Customers can try out the devices there and get advice from experts. Today we run our own stores at five locations.
FOCUS and Statista named Solectric the fastest-growing of 500 companies in Germany, with average growth of 329% a year from 2014 to 2017. In the same year, the Financial Times included Solectric in the FT 1000 ranking of Europe's fastest-growing companies.
With RIDEET, Solectric launched its own connectivity module for motorcycles. The trading business became a company that develops its own products.
In October 2025, CyberXHub went live as the universal control interface for drones, robots, cameras and sensors. It brings devices from different manufacturers together in one place, from mission planning to AI-based analysis.
With its newly formed business area, Solectric has entered the market for robotics solutions. It supports customers from requirements analysis and system design through to commissioning. This makes Solectric a systems integrator for drone and robotics solutions.

Olaf Kappler joined Solectric in 2014 and now leads the company. Under his leadership, the trading business in the Kraichgau region has grown into a group with sites in five countries and more than a hundred employees. He brings more than two decades of experience at Harman/Becker.

Denis Hausberger took over the management of the company from his father in 2007 and opened the family business up to international trade. During his tenure, the company built the relationships with manufacturers that still underpin its range today. Today he is Managing Director and a partner of Solectric.
