Flexible focusing – for snapshots
The XCD 4/28P features a linear stepper motor and a lighter, smaller lens group for focusing. When used with X2D 100C PDAF technology, the focusing lens group can quickly reach the focus position and achieve a precise f-stop. This results in fast, accurate and responsive focusing, so your scene is captured before the shutter clicks.

Fast central shutter, unlimited creative freedom
The lens’ small but powerful central shutter supports flash sync shooting at all shutter speeds, with flash sync up to 1/4000s. Shoot in bright sunlight with flash to capture the dynamic juxtaposition of the subject and highlight your subject while darkening the background.
