Children are coming into contact with digital media at an ever younger age. Nowadays, they grow up with them as a matter of course, whereas many parents only got to know them in adulthood. The question of whether or not digital media should play a role at a young age is the subject of intense and often emotional debate. Fittingly, ROBOT SCHOOL, which teaches children and young people the skills to become creative designers and producers of the digital world, wrote a very interesting experience report on mTiny, the educational robot for children aged 4-8. In it, she addresses the proper use of digital media at a young age, explains what a single robot can foster in children, and shares her experiences with mTiny.
