Fans of Z CAM can look forward to a new gem. With the Z CAM E2-S6G, the professional camera company is offering a new global shutter cinema camera that enables action-packed recordings in 6K.
The new member of the Z CAM 6K camera series features a global shutter that captures all image sensor information at once, ensuring smooth recordings at all times.
Convincing technology compactly packaged
For this, Z CAM has packed a lot of technology into the small device. For example, the Z CAM E2-S6G offers 10-bit 4:2:2 color support, ProRes and ZRAW capture, and a nominal dynamic range of 14 f-stops. Versatile camera control options are offered via two serial ports, a 2.5mm LANC port, a USB Type-C port, and an Ethernet port.
Z CAM also emphasizes functionality in the housing. It is made of aluminum for optimal strength and heat dissipation. This allows the 6K camera to withstand demanding requirements and environments.
Simple control via app
The Z Camera iOS app can be used with 5 GHz WLAN for live image preview, camera control and settings configuration. Other features of the E2-S6G include side control buttons, time-lapse, slow-motion, timecode support, and live streaming via the E2-S6G’s Gigabit Ethernet port.
