100% IFA(tainment)

1024 683 Solectric GmbH

IFA is back again – both as a platform and as a constant for the global tech industry. For almost 100 years, the most exciting innovations have been on show under the Berlin Radio Tower: Retailers, media and consumers find out what will determine our everyday lives in the future.

More than two years of the pandemic had a direct impact on the economy, but also affected the trade fair business, which above all offers the direct encounter and experience of innovations. During the pandemic, numerous events were initially postponed, but then cancelled completely or moved to the new year. The proportion of trade fairs that reorganised themselves digitally grew, but only live can all the senses be addressed, challenged and stimulated. So it was all the more enjoyable to see how Berlin once again transformed itself into the technology capital, with stars and innovations at your fingertips.

Our Highlights

For Solectric, too, IFA is undoubtedly one of the most important trade fairs for consumer electronics and home applications: two industries that shape and influence the lives of everyone around the world every day. We met business partners, made new contacts and supported our partners in presenting their latest products and technologies, such as DJI. One of the highlights of the DJI stand was the 135m³ area where people could try out FPV flights with DJI Avata and DJI Goggles 2: Visitors:inside drove through an obstacle course and could test the breathtaking performance, agility and easy control of the Avata themselves.

There was also a very interesting realistic scenario with actors, allowing visitors to generate the best footage from the wide range of professional products and maximise their creativity. This was rounded off by workshops for professionals and consumers led by film experts and the product management team. Speakers included well-known personalities such as Andras Ra, Alexandru Don and Asa Steinars. The workshops were well attended.

Although IFA only closed its doors this week, we are already looking forward to IFA 2024, because next year it will celebrate its 100th anniversary! We would like to thank you for the great impressions, the numerous visitors and the interesting discussions.
